Diamonds, No, water is a human’s best friend!                                     

Hello, I’m Amirah and I’m talking about a very important topic. We all use water for different reasons right? Sometimes we use it so obsessively that we don’t know how much we are using.

Did you know that 97% of Earths water is saltwater, 2% Frozen water and 1% Fresh water? Honestly it sickens me to know that there are people out there forced to drink and clean themselves with dirty water, but you know what’s even worse? You’re not doing anything about it.

Imagine if you’re my age, 13 and by the time you have grandkids and great grandkids, how can you be sure that there will be water for them like there is for you right now? How can you be sure that what’s happening in Africa and other places won’t become everywhere?

That’s right, you can’t, but you know what my mom always says….. Prevention is better than cure meaning you can stop this before it takes over completely. I applaud the foundations that have been helping. Words cannot describe how that makes me feel, so that’s why I have decided to make the Every Drop Foundation.

Basically people donate money and I’ll sell things to raise money to build wells in countries that are in need. This idea came to me a long time ago but I didn’t know how to express it, but now I have my own voice and I’m telling you to HELP.
